It might seem new to us in North America, as the folks in Asia and Europe have been enjoying the model for some time. Under the direction of Honda North America, there were some unforeseen delays in this Civic and the Honda/Acura NSX. There is no fk8 type r in the picture from the OP. That's a fk7 which comes higher/taller than a fk8 as it's an economy car.
