TheTransit Custom has fallen foul of the dreaded manufacturer recall only three times in its life. The first was for a left-side seatbelt height adjuster bolt that hadn’t been tightened enough. The second concerned an incorrect positive dual battery cable. The final recall concerned the run-on water pump, which could overheat.
Igot the Superchips FlashPaq cal to configure the 285/65/20's and you can have it read the digital speed to the decimal while driving. At 65mph, the digital speedo shows 65, needle shows 66, the calibrator shows 65.5mph. Cars have had slightly optimistic speedometers for as long as there have been speedometers.
