Unscrew bolt. Sli the exhaust on top of a broom handle so top of the handle is pushing on the exhaust baffle and while holding the exhaust, slam the broom handle into the ground. Baffle will pop out (note, I only did this with my 990 akrapovic and dont have akrapovic on my 1290).

So, I just added this new beast to my KTM addiction, a used 2018 1290 Super Adventure R. Just over a year old, with less than 500 miles on the clock and about 8 months left on the warranty.
